THEATRICAL LIGHTING
As an associate lighting designer for Washington University’s annual production of Dance Theatre, I designed the lighting for pieces ranging from point ballet to modern jazz. Playing off the themes of each piece, the lighting emphasizes the connection and segregation between dancers through color and contrast. One of the pieces went on to compete at the regional American Collegiate Dance Festival in Kansas where it was one of two pieces chosen to perform at the national festival in New York.
